About

DCIM101GOPROHey there! My name is Colin Mansfield, and I love coffee. I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho but now find myself living in the southern U.S. and traveling whenever I get the chance.

I originally started BoiseCoffee as a way for me to tell you about my thoughts on coffee shops and drinks. As it’s grown, and as I’ve grown, I’ve realized that central to the coffee experience is community. For me, a cup of joe is made infinitely better when I’m sharing it with someone I care about. Can you relate? Because of this, BoiseCoffee has been transformed into a community of people from around the world who want to share in that cooperative spirit that makes coffee so great.

If this interests you, or even if you just want more information, feel free to peruse and explore this blog. Also, please hit BoiseCoffee up on twitter and facebook.

Finally, feel free to follow my personal blog and personal twitter. I’d love to get to know you!

Let’s continue the discussion and the community!

  2. Aloha Colin,

We grow and sell 100% Kona coffee and are looking for suggestions for high-end roasters to approach with our specialty coffee. Initially we were thinking of the El Paso area but we ship throughout the U.S. so recommendations in any region would be appreciated. We also sell roasted beans so please keep us in mind for high-end restaurants, hotels, gourmet grocery stores, etc.

Thanks for your expertise as I see you write about coffee for many different regions.

    Mahalo for any suggestions.

  3. I have a question about the date I found on a bag of your coffee at Kroger. Is the date that reads – G FEB 01 22 – the date the coffee was roasted or is that the best by date? I opened the bag and the coffee has little aroma. Nothing like what I thought the coffee would smell like. Wondering if it is a old bag and been sitting on the shelf awhile.
